Self regulating heating cable type HWSRL
HWSRL type heating cables are semiconductor, self-regulating oval heaters. Their main feature is the ability to self-regulate, ie automatically reduce their own heating power with increasing temperature (PTC characteristics). Additional advantages are: the possibility of their own crossing and overlapping without the risk of overheating and burnouting, and the possibility of cutting to the required length.
A special advantage of HWSRL heating cables is that they are made so that they can withstand a relatively high temperature of 85 °C (occasionally 100 °C) without degrading and shutting down.
The lengths of these heaters depend on their unit power (10 or 30 W/m) and range from 0.5 m to 205 m (for 230 V voltage standards), and depend on the needs of the heated building.
