Self regulating heating cable type SM2
Heating cables type SM2 are semiconductor, self-regulating heaters of oval cross-section. Their main feature is the ability to self-regulate, ie automatically reduce their own heating power with increasing temperature (PTC characteristics). Additional advantages are: high unit strength, the possibility of self-crossing and overlapping without the risk of overheating and burnouting, and the ability to cut to the required length.
The lengths of these heaters range from 0.5 m to 70 m (for standards voltage of 230 V), and depend on the needs of the heated object. For specific information about this type of heater, related to solving one of your electric heating problems – send us an inquiry!
