Quality control
In the company ELPOS Ltd. all processes are controlled according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard, and special attention is paid to the intermediate and final quality control of our products.
At 100% quality control of our products we work in accordance with the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
2014/35/EU
and compliance with that Directive is based on compliance with standards:
IEC 60800:2021, EN 60519-10:2013 i EN 62395-1:2013
- All heating cables, thin heating mats, heating foils, heating films and heating traces pass the tests: operating resistance, insulation resistance (with 500 VDC), insulation resistance to elevated voltage (1460 VAC) and power at rated voltage. The customer receives the results of these tests in the form of a TRUE REPORT which is automatically generated and printed by the program and equipment of our test system. DECLARATIONS OF CONFORMITY and STATEMENTS OF PROPERTIES can be found on our website in the DOCUMENTS section.
- All power and control distributors for electric heating are tested and must meet the standards EN IEC 61439-1: 2021 and for them the customer receives: TEST REPORT and STATEMENT OF CONFORMITY, and especially the test results of the operation of the circuit breaker.
The automated test system, due to the operation with high voltages, is located in an enclosed space, and the test is carried out by appropriately educated and additionally trained workers. The test procedure itself is conducted by a purpose-written computer program where the examiner only performs control and connection of the measuring equipment and the measuring object.

Electronic assemblies, from our production, are tested in a specially built and equipped laboratory in order to be able to perform very demanding tests according to the standards:
HRN EN 55022:2011, HRN EN 61000-4-2:2009, HRN EN 61000-4-4:2013 i HRN EM 61000-4-6:2014
In addition, our electronic circuits have certificates for LVD and EMC from an authorized laboratory SIQ – Slovenia.
