Digital electronic thermostat DT230

The electronic thermostat type DT230 has been specially developed to control the operation of gutter heating and the prevention of snow accumulation and ice formation in gutters and  drain pipes on smaller buildings.

The thermostat has two rotary knobs with indicators that set the upper (THIGH) and lower (TLOW) limit temperature. By turning these knobs, the user can set the TLOW (-15 °C to 0 °C) and THIGH (0 °C to 15 °C) limit temperatures. When the sensor temperature is between the set limits, for example greater than -10 ° C (TLOW) and less than +5 °C (THIGH), the thermostat will switch on the heating. The thermostat is controlled by a microcontroller which ensures a high accuracy, of ± 1 °C, within the entire temperature range. The sensor is an NTC thermistor (10 kΩ / 25 °C), that comes in two types. Sensor type SZT-10 is adapted for wall mounting, while sensor type SUT-10 is a standard overmolded sensor with a 3 m cable.

In addition to a powerful output relay that can switch currents of up to 25 A, the thermostat also has an on / off button (used to turn the entire device on/off), status light indicators and ALARM output for signaling malfunctions caused by disturbances or problems with the temperature sensor, for example in case the sensor fails (as open or short circuit).
