Heating films AE

Heating films of the AE type are flexible heating elements, very small in thickness and large in area, which enable easy execution of underfloor heating (under laminate) or ceiling heating (above plasterboard).

The heating film consists of two PET (polyethylene) foils between which a conductive layer of carbon is applied. By passing an electric current through a layer of carbon, it radiates heat in the infrared part of the spectrum and heats the objects in its environment with this radiation.

In addition to heating films, reflective foils are often installed, which direct thermal radiation towards the room and thus increase heating efficiency.
