Heating cable with a thermostat 18 W/m – GKT 18

Heating cables with thermostat type GKT 18/x are pre-dimensioned functional units, which consist of classic electric resistance heating cables with a power of 18 W/m at 230 V and electronic thermostats on cable with “schuko” plug type ETU, which include heating when NTC sensor temperature drops at 2.5 °C, and turn OFF when it rises to 4.5 °C. An essential property of these assemblies is the degree of protection IP68 or lay – total watertightness.

They are used for quick and easy installation on all objects where freezing of water can lead to damage. These are primarily various types of pipelines and their equipment, but also condensate drains, and smaller bays, gutters, vertical drains pipes and aquifers. Heating cables with thermostat type GKT 18/x are produced in 18 standard versions. On request, we can also produce versions with classic electric resistance heating cables of some other lengths, but then the unit power of the heater (W/m) also changes.
