Heating cable with a thermostat 22 W/m – GKT 22

Heating cables with thermostat type GKT 22/x are pre-dimensioned functional units, which consist of classic electric resistance heating cables of 22 W/m at 230 V and electronic thermostats on cable with “schuko” plug type ETU, which include heating when the NTC sensor temperature drops at 16 °C, and turn off when it rises to 18 °C. An essential property of these assemblies is the degree of protection IP68 or lay – total watertightness.

These are strictly dedicated heating cables with a thermostat, made to encourage the alcoholic fermentation of must in situations where the ambient temperature is low and does not allow the development of yeast. The heating cable and temperature sensor are immersed in a barrel of must, to locally raise the temperature and encourage alcoholic fermentation.
