Plug-in thermostat ETU 2,5/4,5 °C

The ETU is a simple, precise and reliable electronic thermostat with a plug. It is designed to control electric heating cables for the purpose of frost protection, and is set to turn on the heating when the temperature drops to 2.5 °C, and to turn it off when it rises above 4.5 °C. (There is also a variant of the ETU thermostat intended to stimulate the alcoholic fermentation which turns on at 16 °C and turns off at 18 ° C).

The ETU electronic thermostat consists of: an electronic circuit protected by polyamide plastic (which satisfies the degree of protection IP 68), a connection cable with a factory-made “Schuko” plug (IEC type F – EU plug), an NTC thermistor as an temperature sensor and an output connection cable to which the heating cable is subsequently connected. The ETU thermostat switches on the heating cable using a 16 A switching power relay. The two-color LED indicates the current operating status of the thermostat (green – heating off; red – heating on).
